Sheriff's Protective Association

Welcome to the Sheriff's Protective Association's Home Page.

This association has served the social, welfare, and educational needs of its members since 1957. We were originally affiliated with the Clark County Sheriff's Department. In July 1973, the Clark County Sheriff's Department and the Las Vegas Police Department consolidated into the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Our eligible membership now includes all full-time employees of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

The idea for this web site actually came from some retired members. The Board of Directors has had a great deal of concern about our inability to get information out to retirees. Hopefully this site will fill part of that gap.

The information contained on the Public pages is generic to our operation. However, specific information on dates and locations of events are only available in the members only section. The members only section contains forms for address changes, application for membership, and scholarship application forms. Members will be notified of their passwords by interoffice mail or they may contact me for a password. If you are a retired member, you can also contact me for a password.
